SUPERSUPPORT

Used in the construction of SuperSleeper retaining walls to provide foundational support and stability to the bottom sleeper. It is made from composite materials and serves as the foundation upon which the wall is built. SuperSupport helps to distribute the vertical weight of the retaining wall evenly and prevents settling or shifting of the wall over time. Additionally, SuperSupport can be used for providing further stability to the SuperCap when installed atop of top sleeper during retaining wall construction.

SUPERDRAIN

A drainage cell/drainage mat used in the construction of retaining walls to manage water drainage. SuperDrain consists of a series of interconnected dimples that create channels for water to flow through. The drainage cell is installed behind the retaining wall structure and serves to collect and redirect water away from the wall, preventing hydrostatic pressure buildup and potential wall failure.

SUPERWEDGE

SuperWedge is made of durable plastic and is designed to securely hold the SuperSleeper in place during installation. SuperWedge shape allows for easy insertion and adjustment, ensuring a tight fit between the SuperSleeper and SuperPost.

You can expect to find the product value comparable to that of concrete sleeper retaining wall products. However significant savings with logistics and installation.

The life span can expect to reach 100 years, this is providing that product has been installed and maintained correctly.

There is very little you can’t do with SuperSleeper, the ideal heights achieved are up to 1.6m in height. Remember all walls over 1.0m require an engineer and council approval regardless.

SuperSleeper already contains UV resistant properties, however if maintained the product will last 100 years.

  • Yes, composite walls can be painted. However, because it is made from components of fibreglass, you must use the correct preparation and paint type to prevent flaking or peeling.
  • Lightly scuff the surface with 220-grit sandpaper or similar, before painting to help the paint adhere properly.
  • Use a paint that is suitable for fibreglass and exterior environments which will contain UV protection.
  • Polyurethane paint is recommended, as it is designed for harsh outdoor conditions. Epoxy paints are not recommended as they do not provide adequate UV resistance.
  • Always follow the paint manufacturer’s instructions, including the use of a primer if required. For example, Dulux Maximum Strength Adhesion Primer is suitable for fibreglass according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Polyurethane paint is usually sourced from specialist paint suppliers such as marine or industrial paint stores.
